Adi’s Coney Island: A Taste of American Diner Classics in Detroit

Food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced for the portion size which was pretty big! I had a ham and cheese omelette which came with hash browns and toast and my companion had the big man's breakfast special that came with 3 eggs, hash browns, and a good size portion of ham and toast. We also split an order of biscuits and gravy and ended up taking home enough food for another whole meal for both of us! The service could have been a little better, I don't think he had much experience but we were the only people there and he wasn't slow, just had to keep asking for everything an experienced server would have known to bring to the table. There was also only one bathroom operational and no toilet paper, when I asked for some I was given napkins...

This place is very underrated very delicious food they make there food with care and listens to request when ordering online ordered from this place many times and every time does not disappoint love the food and good workers

I didn't eat here but I just want to say the thoughtful and courteous black gentleman at the counter last night was very kind to me. I offered to buy him something for being so nice but he declined. Very professional and for that, I will never forget this place. Good luck to you young man and I pray God blesses you with all your hearts desires .

Whenever me and my dad go up there for some food there always quick to service and they get the order right all the time although depending on who's cooking I'd watch what I get breakfast wise from there because the bacon when I got it had so much seeable fat on it, it was just weird to me. But other than that the food is pretty good the service is great the atmosphere is a little shady a bit but that's because they don't have that much customers in there or sitting down to eat what it's a pretty good and when other Coney Islands can't get our food right we usually go Adi coney island.

Well my opinion is go early in the morning, best female cook around. I'm talking Breakfast at it's finest. French toast, Pancakes, Grilled chicken omelets. And affordable.. Yup!!! And you have your choice to Dine in or take out. Which by the way is done fast and the food is also made like that Good old Home meal.

I love being able to count on this spot whenever I need a good meal. Whether it’s a middle-of-the-night omelette, a juicy burger, or a chicken wrap, I know the food will be filling and affordable. What really makes the difference, though, is the staff — they’re always kind and welcoming, and every visit feels like I belong there. It’s rare to find a place that’s both consistent and caring, and I’m grateful this one is in the neighborhood.

Stayed in Detroit for a concert, ordered Doordash delivery from here. The breakfast food was absolutely delicious. I had a farmers skillet and french toast. Very good price for what we received. Definitely will eat here again while in Detroit.
